

User permissions to execute the Regsvr32.exe file is a minimum requirement for the Teams Meeting add-in to be installed on the computer.See Upgrade from Skype for Business to Teams for details. Under some circumstances, the Teams add-in is not available in Outlook. There are additional considerations if your organization runs both Teams and Skype for Business.There is no direct URL that links to the Teams add-in.Also note that Office will cease to work after a short 'grace' period if you leave the University. See Microsoft's advice on system requirements for the new Office suite. Please Note: you can only install the free version of Office on Windows 10 or later PCs. Make sure to sign in to confirm your installation, you may also be asked to sign in when you open your application for the first time. When installation is complete, you will see a message saying "You're all set! Office is installed now". Note that if you have a slow Internet connection the install process can take a very long time because Office is being streamed to your computer. Run the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to install. In the Office 365 portal, click the 'Install Office' button and save the file to your preferred location. On the University-branded page (as above), enter your normal University password and click on the ‘Sign in’ button. You will be redirected to the University's login page.
